Program Details & Pricing
There is an additional cost for the program. However, pricing is set at a discounted rate compared to U.S. retail pricing. Contact Edgar Masters at Volvo Cars San Diego for exact pricing details.
Yes, a $3,000 deposit is required at the time of ordering. This amount is applied toward the total price of your vehicle.
The full balance is due 30 days before your scheduled trip to Sweden. Financing options are available.
Timeline & Ordering Process
We recommend placing your order approximately four months before your desired delivery date.
If selecting a vehicle from the Overseas Delivery stock list, the timeline can be as short as 2.5 months.
Once you drop off your Volvo in Sweden, it will be shipped to Volvo Cars San Diego, with an estimated arrival time of six to eight weeks.
Travel & Delivery Experience
1. Meet with Volvo Cars San Diego – Work with Edgar Masters to design and order your vehicle.
2. Plan Your Trip – Volvo Concierge will assist in booking your flights and accommodations.
3. Arrive in Sweden – Pick up your Volvo at the Volvo Factory Delivery Center in Gothenburg.
4. Enjoy Your Adventure – Experience VIP delivery, a Volvo Factory Tour, and the World of Volvo Museum.
5. Drop Off Your Volvo – When your trip ends, Volvo will ship your car back to the U.S.
6. Pick Up Your Car in San Diego – Your Volvo will arrive at Volvo Cars San Diego within six to eight weeks.
Financing & Leasing Options
Currently, leasing is not available for vehicles purchased through the Overseas Delivery Program.
